Situated in the north of Gran Canaria near "La Cueva Pintada" (caves painted by the aborigines dating back to the 14th century) and "El Cenobio de Valeron" (a fortified aborigine settlement with more than 300 caves) lies Parque Norte, in a spectacular scenery where nature is the sole protagonist. In Parque Norte you will be able to take a walk through one of the largest and most varied banana and palm tree plantations coming from all over the world. You will also be able to witness how these plants are cultivated.
In a little over than 1 km of walking you will also have the opportunity to closely view a great variety of animals, some of which are in danger of extinction. Exotic animals such as the Red-crowned Crane, toucans and parrots and also perky creatures such as the cotton-topped Tamarins from the Brazilian rainforest abide side by side in this botanical-zoological park, unique to the insland. Do not miss out on other attractions such as the Mini-zoo, where diverse species of dwarf animals are, such as donkeys, pigs, goats, turtles and rabbits.
Do not doubt us. Come with your family to Parque Norte and spend the day with us. You can take a brake and even have lunch in our communal areas. Also, do not worry about your car, as you will have access to our largue parking area, where you can park for free.
Enjoy the idyllic nature in Parque Norte.
